|| Horizon || I’m standing on the sands of time, with my feet sinking into it deeper the longer I stand. So, I move closer to the water, such that it subtly wets the tips of my toes and draws me in. I stand there, still, but the waters bring me closer to you, without even telling me that they were. But oh, my Horizon! You aren’t something that I can visit. You’re just meant to be admired from a distance. || Full Stop || I hate ending my poems with a full stop. Yeah, I know I’ll break the rule of the English language if I do so. But putting a full stop at the end of my poem feels like an end. I’ve always learnt that there is no end to imagination. Poetry is all about how you imagine things. I don’t want it to end, I want the poem to be played on and on inside my readers’ minds, I want their imagination to run wild and think deeper about the poem, and them to write their own thoughts after it. Yes, that’s why I don’t get a writer’s block. And again, I’m not going to end this poem with a full stop either #fullstop #yqbaba #yqquotes #poetry #horizon_gs #thoughts #yqtales #life
