As I was walking inside a grove the nearby brook called for me so I sat beside her and she started her song. Her voice was melancholic but so mesmerizing she sang about her children,underwater and their deaths caused by humans' nature. They said thoughts should be told, Truth should be spoken, No one informed me that it'll break the mould, Leave the heart broken. That the dreams will shatter, Feelings won't matter. The mornings will be glum, The night dark, Life will lose hope, I'll lose my spark. It's easy to say time heals everything, It's been ages but still the sparrows don't chirp, The canaries don't sing. I've always loved silence, The melancholy feeling that comes along with it, But this time it was different, The surroundings were same, But emotions didn't seem to fit, The book in my hand didn't seem to interest me for a change, All that eagerness to turn over the new page was gone, strange, Then I realized that it was the absence of myself, Something was missing, and it was you 'Tej', It wasn't the looming darkness outside that felt odd, It was the one growing inside giving way to rage, And then I wake up, feeling stifled, Sweating profusely at 3 am on a winter night! No one to talk to, such is the plight, So again I turn to my book, This time to write down the feelings, That no one will understand had me on the hook.
