I still find your face In screaming crowds And silent mounts; In midnight haunts And dancing sounds. I still trace your name On perfumed paper And in beachfront waters-- Using fancy pens or twigs Combined with laughter. I jot down regret And persistent hunger; Emotions, splattered On walls and trees-- Yearning for your voice Or just a glimpse Of your flashing seas; A simple indication That you're still there; So that even when You're not with me here, I know that you're still Alive and at peace.
