India celebrates the festival of colors - Holi,In this festival, no matter who we are, how differently colored we are, We hug each other and enjoy together. Then why do we have such hatred on basis of color in our own country, We already have issues with region, religion, caste, sexual orientation, gender, physical appearance, etc . Adding color to it just makes the recipe amazing! When will we open our eyes to see the person for who they are? Hurts when people around me whom I know and adore do the same only to turn a deaf ear when questioned about the same. Where does this hatred go when the doctor who treats your loved ones is of darker skin? Wake up. It's high time. Music has no language, it knows no borders, I think we should use it to remove all the disorders, Bring the harmony the world needs, High time to sow some love seeds, With all the violence and hatred all around, And chaos and despair here to surround, We need humanity, we need brotherhood, Weapons aren't the way, only if they could, Understand that weapons don't have a brain, they don't care, About the people in front of them, running here and there, In search of hope, thinking they might live, This isn't what to the society, we are supposed to give, So wake up and realize what we are here to do, Hold each other's hands and put these troubles through... #poetry #poetryisnotdead #humanity #peace #oneworldonerace #humanfirst #originalpoetry
