Separation, oh how it stings, A feeling that cuts with razor sharp wings, Leaves us hollow, broken and blue, Wondering how we’ll get through. The absence of a love once near, A loss that’s hard to bear, Leaves us with an aching heart, And tears that refuse to depart. The space between two souls, Once entwined in perfect roles, Now distant, cold and gray, No longer in each other's way. Memories of laughter, love, and bliss, Now fade into a painful abyss, Leaving only emptiness and sorrow, No hope of seeing tomorrow. Lost soul #1 I forgot the poem of my life, Just some fragment of memory now lingers in my eyes. Like they are playing a rewind, some of them are sad, some are happy. I am trying to connect, to find the fact. The reason why I forget, the life I had. This is the first poem of the collection I am trying to write #lostsoul. I want to try a new way of writing and as I am not that familiar with writing English poems. In this, I want to tell the story of a person who wakes up after being in a coma who lost their memory about themself and everything related to them. I am trying to picture the scene of how they felt. And as it is #napowrimo so I thought why not tell the story as a poem. And if find any error, please feel free to guide me.
