There is no use of celebrating Independence Day when the girls and women of the countries are still unsafe and are not free to roam anywhere, anytime. We girls and women still feel unsafe going anywhere out throughout India. No girl and women would ever say she feels completely safe in India. With ever increasing rape and molestation cases, there is no use of calling India as 'independent country'. We still fear would we return safe from school/college or work or anywhere out. India has became one of the most unsafe country in the world. Other than celebrating Independance Day, try to solve out this matter from the roots. All women and girls think of moving abroad to a safer and developed country multiple times in her life. We dont feel at all independent in this so called 'independent India' which only got independence from Britishers.
