স্মৃতির পাতায় 'স্মৃতি ' শব্দটা শোনার সাথেই সাথেই কেউ যেন হাজারও আগাগোড়া সুখ-দুখের চিত্র চোখের সামনে তুলে ধরল। আমার কাছে স্মৃতির স্বর্ন যুগ বলতে শৈশবকালটাকে মনে পড়ে যেখানে মায়ের আঁচল ভরা সুখের সামনে দুঃখগুলি যেন ঐ শাড়িরেই কোনো একটা কোণে পুটলিতে বাঁধা আছে,যেখানে শৈশবের অবাধ স্বাধীনতার ডাক বারবার মনকে নাড়া দিয়ে সেই পুরোনো স্মৃতির দেশে ফিরে যাওয়ার ইচ্ছা প্রকাশ করে।কিন্তু বাস্তব সত্যের সময়ের খেলার সাথে যেমন নদীর গতিপথও একসময় সমুদ্রের কোনো এক মিলনস্থলে থমকে যায় ঠিক একিভাবে এই অদম্য ইচ্ছাগুলোও কোথায় যেন থমকে যাই ।এই বিরামহীন,স্বার্থপরতার মোহ আচ্ছন্ন ভরা জীবনে ঐই স্বর্ন যুগকে সাদামাটা পাতায় তুলতে চাইলে কলমের ডগাও যেন মুচলেকা দিয়ে নিজের অক্ষমতা প্রকাশ করে ,তবু কলমের কালির বিদ্রোহের জেরে বর্ণমালাগুলো কিছুটা হলেও স্মৃতির ন্যয় নিজেদেরকে রূপ দিতে সক্ষম হয়েছে। আমার শৈশবকালের স্মৃতি বলতে বেশিরভাগ সময়টাই গ্রামে কাটানো।এখন পড়াশোনার খাতিরে শহরে থাকি, তাই হয়তো গ্রামের মাতৃভূমির প্রতি সর্বদা একটা আলাদাই টান থাকে,অনেকটা যেন ম্যাগনেসিয়া পাথরের অমোঘ টানের মতো ক্ষমতা সম্পন্ন ।হয়তো শহরের একঘেয়েমি,বন্দি দ্বারের মতো থমকে দাঁড়ানো বড়ো বড়ো অট্টালিকা আর হাজার হাজার কলকারখানার ধুয়ো ভর্তি আকাশের থেকে মন বিপন্ন হয়ে বারবার সেই প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্যের অলংকারে সাজানো গ্রামের প্রত্যেকটা রূপে মন যেন শৈশবের স্মৃতিগুলো ফিরে পেতে চাই ,তাই হয়তো এই চুম্বকত্বের টান। বিশেষত মনে পড়ে সাত সকালে পাখিদের কিচিরমিচির শব্দের তালে সূর্যি মামা যখন নিজের দায়িত্বের ভার নিয়ে পৃথিবীর বুকে বিরাজ করার চেষ্টা করে ,ঠিক সেই সময়ের পাশাপাশি মায়ের ডাক"হেইই বাবা,, তোর প্রিয় নাস্তা বানিয়ে দিয়েছি তাড়াতাড়ি উঠে খেয়ে নে তা না হলে ঠান্ডা হয়ে যাবে ।"কিন্তু মায়ের অজান্তেই সেই মিষ্টি বকুনি খাওয়ার অপেক্ষায় আবার শুয়ে পড়তাম আর ঠিক অল্পক্ষণের মধ্যেই মায়ের সেই বকুনি "দ্যখ না গিয়ে পাড়ার সব ছেলেরা মাঠে খেলছে আর তুই এখনও ঘুমিয়ে আচ্ছিস" যা আজ সবচাইতে বেশী মনে পড়ে।মনে হয় কান যেন সেই মায়ের ডাকগুলি শোনার জন্য সাত সকালে হোস্টল রুমের চার দেওয়ালে আজও প্রত্যাশাই থাকে। মনে পড়ে সেই গ্রীষ্মের বিকেলগুলিতে মায়ের অজান্তেই ঘুম থেকে উঠে কানু মামার বাগানে বন্ধুদের সাথে আম চুরি করতে যাওয়ার গল্প। আজ হাজার টাকার আম কেনার সামর্থ্য রয়েছে, তবে জানি না কেন ঐ চুরি করা আমের স্বাদের সামনে আজ এক্সপোর্টেড করার আমের স্বাদটুকু ফেকসে পড়ে যায়। স্কুল ফেরৎ আমি না খেয়ে বন্ধুদের নানা বাহারের ডাকে (বিশেষত আমার বাবার ভয়ে বন্ধুদের ডাকার এই কৌশল ছিল ) সাড়া দিয়ে মাঠে খেলতে যাওয়ার জেদ আজও মনে পডে,আজ সময়ের কাছে সেই জেদ যেন মাথা নত করেছে। আর সব চাইতে মজার স্কুলের সেই বানেশ্বর স্যরের ইংরেজী ক্লাসটা ।আজও ইচ্ছে করে তাড়াহুড়ো করতে গিয়ে গ্রামারটা ভুল করে চলে আসি,আর সাথে স্যরের বকুনিটা যার মধ্যে হাজারো বাস্তব শিক্ষার উপদেশ থাকত যা আজও জীবনে চলার পথে অনুভব করতে পারি। আজ ঘর থেকে দূরে থাকলেও প্রায়ই মনে পড়ে সেই কোনো এক সন্ধ্যায় বন্ধুদের সাথে সাইকেল করে দিগন্তে ছুটে যাওয়ার গল্প ,আজ সেই সাইকেল বাড়ির কোনো এক কোণে অভিমানের বাঁধ নিয়ে নিশ্চুপ থাকে,হয়তো আমারি অপেক্ষায় রয়েছে শত শত প্রশ্নে নিয়ে ।যেদিন আমি শহর থেকে গ্রামে ফিরব ,বাইনা ধরবে দিগন্ত ছুটে যাওয়ার। আর ঠিক এভাবেই আমার অপূর্ণ গল্পের মধ্যে স্মৃতিরা নিজেদের রূপ দেওয়ার চেষ্টাতে দ্বন্দ্ব লাগায় কিন্তু কলমের ডগার জেদের কাছে তারা যেন অসহায় ,কলমের কালি তার অন্তিম পর্যায়ে যেন বিদ্রোহের শব্দ হারিয়ে ফেলে বর্ণমালার হিজিবিজির কাছে।তাই আজও স্মৃতিরা অব্যক্ত। বাস্তব সত্যের জগৎে সমসুরে স্মৃতিরা নিঃস্বার্থ ভাবে জীবনে চলার পথে জড়িয়ে যায়। মাঝে মাঝে হঠ্যাৎ রোদ্দুর বিকেলে যেমন অজানা মেঘেরা পৃথিবীর বুকে নিজেদের রূপের বর্ষণ ঘটাই,ঠিক হুবুহু স্মৃতিরাও মাঝে মাঝে মনের অন্তরে বৃষ্টির ফোঁটার মতো নিজেদেরকে ঝরিয়ে সব কিছু তরতাজা করে দিয়ে চলে যাই। পরিশেষে -ঐ শৈশবকালের স্বর্ন যুগ যেমন আমার এই ছোটো গল্পতে অপরিসমাপ্ত,শেষ নিশ্বাস ত্যাগের আগে পর্যন্ত তারা যেন এভাবেই বাকি থাকে। _আজহারউদ্দিন আনসারী ©Azharuddin(The untold writer) childhood memories

White A SHORT NOTE Scrap of memories ('Scrap' here refers to paper, 'memories' refers to remembering incidents by that paper) Time passes like the flip of an page, with only words remaining as memories. For every individual, there lies an untold story, which can be really absurd but filled with memories. Even she has an absurd story, her story that revolts around an single sheet of paper. She was now in college, pursuing visual arts, with only her love for arts. Her view on college life was obstructed with many skilled people in the very same field. The view she saw was always a monochrome one, with urge to follow the footsteps taken by clever fox. She didn't know why she was studying about sculptures and architectures, without having an idea towards her future goals. Her love for arts? She realised that only 'love' could not always help in accomplishing things. But rather put in a cage, together with clever and cunning fox, she started to feel more envious of the wild around her. Same routine she followed, with no distinct goals or future dreams to entertain. She wished to soar high, but lacked motivation and inspiration. Being a rabbit, she even had fear of interacting with other superior animals. One day, she saw her lady holding a doodled paper in her hand. Initially nothing bothered her about the paper. But when she took a closer look, she remembered something so trivial. Those were her math workout papers, which she had used during her high school. Just a piece of paper, with some workout sums it was. Those maths workout made her to remember, how she worked so hard towards achieving considerable marks in that particular subject. The endless effort she had taken to try out a particular exercise several times. What a painful memory it was! She worked, spent time on such sums just to achieve some good marks. Working out for a longer time made her worn out, to get fed up with that subject, and finally hating it. But, she also remembered how she always insisted on giving her best in everything. This was one thing she forgot to add in her college life. Although the environment she faces is a complete dark world, she can still try her 'best' to get out of that world slowly. Once again, she tried something new, out of her league giving her best! Likewise, all things may come and fall at the same point, with full of struggles to endure, the only 3 words you can think at this time is, "Give your best!" I miss the company of my childhood friends, who used to wait for my whistle to leap out of their house and join me for a ride along the hills before joining other friends on the ground for a game of kabaddi, gulli-danda, or pitthu! Those beautiful days are gone, never to return. Red sands and spectacular sandstone rock formations A page from my childhood: My beloved parents. It was during my examination that I returned home late after spending time with my friends.  My Achhan (father) advised me in a bit of a harsh tone. Frankly speaking, he scolded me for staying out late during my examination, and I felt very sad. My Amma (mother) knew how I would feel and even may skip my dinner. As I stepped into my room, she came and hugged me tight with a kiss and ensured that I had my food before I went to sleep. Here, half of my grief has been taken care of. Not yet done, as I lay down with my eyes closed, I feel a drop of water on my cheeks, but before I open my eyes, I hear Achhan's voice. He said, "I love you very much, my dear mone (son); it's for your good," and he kissed me on my forehead, positioning my blanket properly before switching off the lights and leaving my room. It was not a drop of water, as I felt a while ago. It was a drop of precious tears from my Achhan. I know my Amma is watching him without his knowledge.  I feel the tears on my cheeks before I go for a sound sleep, with all my grief taken care of.
