अपना यह भावहीन जीवन भावों से विरक्त होकर काट रहा था। ऐसा नहीं था कि मैं खुश नहीं था, परन्तु संभवतः‌ उस खुशी की चेतना मुझसे अछूती रह गई थी। जीवन की राहों पर चलते-चलते एक दिन एक अज्ञात लड़की से मेरा सामना हुआ। उसे देखकर पहला विचार मन में यह आया कि वह कुछ असामान्य है। परन्तु उसने असामान्य से अद्भुत बनने में अधिक समय व्यर्थ न किया। उसके साथ जीवनयात्रा का आनंद एक नीलपत्थर की भांति अलौकिक जान पड़ता है। एक ऐसा नीलपत्थर जिसे एकटक निहारते हुए हृदय प्रेम के एक पावन स्वप्न में खो जाता है और फिर इस स्वप्न से बाहर आने की उसकी इच्छा नहीं होती। उन राहों से, इस यात्रा से जैसे एक अटूट नाता जुड़ गया है। अब तो एक ही कामना है कि इस यात्रा का अंत चिरकाल तक न हो। #Sapphire
