গত দুই দিন যাবৎ ফণী নিয়ে উত্তাল বাংলা। ফণীর আক্রমনের পূর্বেই News Channel গুলোতে তার দাপট লক্ষ্য করা গিয়েছিল। News Channel গুলোর চিন্তা হচ্ছিল - ফণী কলকাতার ওপর কী রূপ আঘাত হানবে,এই ভেবে। ফণী আসছে,ফণী আসছে করে ভয়েই কিছু মানুষ প্রেসার,সুগার বাড়িয়ে ফেলল। কিছুজনের তো Heart Attack হওয়ার উপক্রম হয়েছিল,কয়েকজনের হয়েওছে। অবশেষে দুর্বল ফণী 'কলকাতা'র কান ঘেষে বেড়িয়ে গেল,বিপদমুক্ত হল 'কলকাতা'। আর বিশেষ খবর নেই,ফণীর। এই বিশাল 'পশ্চিমবঙ্গ' যেন একটাই এলাকা নিয়ে তৈরি,'কলকাতা'। 'কলকাতা' Safe তো,গোটা রাজ্য Safe। 'কলকাতা' Danger এ তো,গোটা রাজ্য Danger এ। দুর্গাপুজো মানে শুধুই 'কলকাতা'। আবার প্রবল বৃষ্টিতে রাস্তায় জল দাঁড়িয়ে গেলে খবরের শিরোনামে 'কলকাতা'। এদিকে গ্রামে রাস্তাঘাট বেহাল অবস্থায় রয়েছে;গ্রামের মানুষের বাড়ি,চাষের জমি ভেসে যাচ্ছে তার হুস এদের নেই। একটা বিষয় নজরে এলেও সেটা নিয়ে কয়েকদিন জলঘোলা করবে,তারপর আবার অন্য কিছু। এই হচ্ছে আমাদের News Channel। 'কলকাতা'ই সব ওদের কাছে,'কলকাতা'র বাইরে বিশাল বাংলাকে ওরা দেখতেই পায়না। দৃষ্টিহীন News Channel
