A disease to please robbed me of my peace. Always sought validation, met all their expectations. Neglected my well-being while I was busy pleasing. Cheated on my own body while I charmed everybody. Attended every party, sipped all of the Barcadi’s. Inhaled some potent chronic, I forgot who I was. I’ve lived most of my life with a chronic disease. I cannot afford to please. यूँ तो इस शहर में काफ़ी मजमा है , काफ़ी भीड़ है हर शक़्स मगर यहां ख़ुद में एक सुनसान बस्ती है इतनी तन्हाई तो मयस्सर है मुझे मेरे अपने घर में तो आख़िर क्यों निकल के आऊँ एक सन्नाटे से दूसरे सन्नाटे में Musings - 10/10/2019
