Beneath a sky of heavy, darkened gray, Where shadows dance and rain finds its way, The world is cloaked in a whispering shroud, As droplets weave through a somber cloud. In the gloom, the earth sings a lullaby, A melody where the night birds fly, And though the sky may weep and moan, There's solace in the dark rain’s tone. I write..... 2021 I'm sitting outside while I write In a couple hours it will be daylight Rain has been falling overnight Now everything is wet in sight The chill in the air has a bite Cover up in your blankets tight Seeing this weather will not excite But I have a hot coffee to my delight The caffeine gets my brain to ignite In my head I read over and recite Maybe I can give a bit of insight My stomach feels like it's in a dogfight Perhaps its time to tend to my appetite My belly sometimes is not very polite I will end this and I will take flight As for now I will go back inside ©Schizology I write ....2021 #poem✍🧡🧡💛 #writing #Random

When I write When I sit down to write I block any distractions In my head is where I go My mind gives me traction It's like a movie in my brain I think lights, camera, action The light goes on up inside My thoughts go on random The camera, my imagination Visualizing words until I'm done The action is my trusty pen Writing and reading, I have fun When finished I read it over Then decide what should change Taking one word from a line Move it around, I re-arrange The end result may not be good So I'll forget it and turn the page When I am satisfied with one I check with friends for advice After they give me a thumbs up I look it over to be more precise Once it's completed I feel better I look again as it pleases my eyes ©Schizology When I write #Poetry #poem✍🧡🧡💛 #writing
