আজ পথের ধারে একটা বাচ্চা কুকুরকে দেখলাম; এক্সিডেন্টে মারা গেছে। ওর চারপাশে রয়েছে ওর ভাই-বোনেরা। লাশটাকে টেনে-হিঁচড়ে, ছিঁড়ে ছিঁড়ে খাচ্ছে ওরা। খানিক দূরে দাঁড়িয়ে কঙ্কালসার মা চুপচাপ সবটা দেখছে। কী করবে? এরা তো প্রথম শ্রেণীর পোষা বিলিতি কুকুর নয়, যাদের 'পেডিগ্রী', 'ড্রোলস্' কিংবা 'পিওরপেট' ছাড়া চলেনা। এরা দ্বিতীয় শ্রেণীর পোষা দেশী কুকুর নয়, যাদের 'লেরো', 'পাউরুটি' কিংবা 'মালিকের উচ্ছিষ্ট খাবার' এ পেট ভরে। এরা রাস্তার কুকুর। একজন মরেছে, বাকিদের তো বাঁচতে হবে; মাংসটা না হয় নিজের কারুরই হোকনা। দৃশ্যটা করুণ আর নৃশংস মনে হচ্ছে না! মানুষও তো তেমনই জীব। এক শ্রেণীর হাতে উদ্বৃত্ত পুঁজি; বুঝে উঠতে পারছে না কীভাবে খরচ করবে। আরেক শ্রেণী দিন আনে, দিন খায়। আর বাকিরা, পথের কুকুরের মতই বাঁচার লড়াই চালায়। এ আজকের ঘটনা নয়। অতীত ঘেঁটে দেখলে, এই ছবিই খুঁজে পাওয়া যাবে। সময় বদলেছে, গ্লোবালাইজেশন হয়েছে; চিত্রটা বদলায়নি। ©Arghyakamal Das Globalization #globalization #Civilization #Truth #Truth_of_Life #Reality #changetheworld
