As the chaos of corona reigns everywhere Humanity faces its greatest trial We all stare at our mortality As the virus lays its vicious hand on people Having no fault of theirs The toll may just be a number for many But every death matters A person is the world for his family Corona has made the social animal isolated Confined to the four walls of his melancholic house Desires, aims, promises, planning Have all been deluded by this tiny demon Everything seems to be surreal Life feels like a bubble blown up in the air Let hope prevail Corona will meet its doom If we fight this invisible foe With all our might and control. Happy days will be back Then we will not hesitate in shaking hands And not be shy of talking and laughing together When mask won’t be there To conceal our blushing face When fun will be in the air Not the sinister virus And sitting in a pleasant shade We will celebrate our togetherness Blinking away tears Relishing the amorous feeling called life For sweet is the pleasure after pain.
