उम्र भर ग़ालिब यही भूल करता रहा, धूल चेहरे पे थी और आईना साफ़ करता रहा । --- मिर्जा गालिब भावार्थ - मिर्जा गालिब का कहना है कि लोगों को अपने अवगुण दिखाई ही नहीं देते हैं, उन्हें बस दूसरों में ही कमियाँ दिखाई देती हैं। यही कारण है कि लोग अपने चेहरे पर पड़े धूल को साफ करने के बजाय जीवन बर आईने को ही साफ करते रहते हैं। Abstract - Mirza Ghalib says that people do not see their own demerits, they only see the shortcomings in others.  This is the reason why people keep cleaning the mirror for life instead of cleaning the dust lying on their face.
