I smile, with tear in my eye As slowly my heartbeat starts to die I can see the blood trickling slowly on my wrist Hoping I can somehow disappear in this mist I don't want these sad memories Nor do I want them anymore The haunted past The sadness galore Trying to escape from them Leaving them behind me When I look back even once Pain is all I see All I wanted from my life Was a moment when I'm not sad But after I got all of this I realized the situation is bad I just wanted to get away And go and get back my smiles Doesn't matter if I have to walk Or run a 100 miles I will do whatever it takes To live my life my way I don't care anymore If with my soul I have to pay All I need right now Is coffee and warm hugs But nobody to call my own That's what my life bugs Maybe one day I'll find a life hack Which I can use To get my happiness back Maybe one day I'll be sad never again And the road I walk on Will feel bad never again The Lost Battles #anxiety #depression #experience
