ਇੱਕ ਨਗਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਗ ਲੱਗੀ । ਇੱਕ ਘਰ ਵੀ ਲਪਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਾ ਗਿਆ । ਮਾਲਕ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਰੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ । ਉਸਦੀ ਸਮਝ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਨਾ ਆਇਆ ਕਿ ਕੀ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਕੀ ਨਾ ਕਰੇ ? ਲੋਕੀ ਸਮਾਂਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਕੱਢ ਰਹੇ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਨਿਆਸੀ ਬਾਹਰ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ । ਜਦੋਂ ਸਾਰਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਬਾਹਰ ਅਾ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੋਈ ਕੀਮਤੀ ਸਮਾਨ ਰਹਿ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਦੱਸੋ ? ਅਸੀਂ ਆਖਿਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਾਂ ,ਅੱਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਲਪਟਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਵਧ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ । ਦੁਵਾਰਾ ਅੰਦਰ ਜਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਾ । ਸੁੰਨ ਹੋਏ ਮਾਲਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ,” ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ । ਉਹ ਅੰਦਰ ਗਏ , ਅੰਦਰੋ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ । ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਲੱਗੇ ਕੀ ਹੋਇਆ ? ਅਸੀ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਦੱਸ ਸਕਦੇ । ਅਸੀ ਗਲਤੀ ਕਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਬਚਾਉਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਏ । ਮਾਲਕ ਦਾ ਇਕਲੌਤਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਸਡ਼ ਕਿ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ । ਸਮਾਨ ਤਾਂ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ ਪਰ ਮਾਲਕ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ । ਉੱਥੇ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਸਨਿਆਸੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਾਇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਖਿਆ । ਦੁਨੀਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਹੀ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਲੋਕੀ ਸਮਾਂਨ ਬਚਾ ਰਹੇ ਨੇ ਆਦਮੀ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ । ਅਸੀ ਇਸਨੂੰ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਾਂ । ਇਹ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ । ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾਵੇ । ਪਰ ਬਹੁ ਸੰਖਿਆ ਏਹੀ ਕੇ ਰਹਿ ਹੈ ,ਸਮਾਨ ਵਧਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ । ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਧਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ,ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਨਹੀਂ । ਤੀਬਰ ਇੱਛਾਵਾਂ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਦੌੜਾ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਪਰ ਪਹੁੰਚਾ ਕਿਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ । #vikas #development #story #Sach #for #LightsInHand
