White یہ وقت گزر کیوں نہیں جاتا۔ وہ ایک پل میرے پاس کیوں نہیں آتا۔ میری نظر اس کی منتظر ہے، وہ جانتا ہے، پھر بھی وہ یہاں سے گزر کیوں نہیں جاتا۔ ساگر کی طرح دل میں طوفان اٹھتے ہیں، یہ درد کوئی اظہار کیوں نہیں پاتا؟ میری دعاؤں کی خوشبو میں رنگ اس کا ہے، پھر بھی وہ موسم بدل کیوں نہیں جاتا؟ چاندنی راتوں میں یادوں کی برکھا ہے، دل کا یہ قصہ تمام کیوں نہیں ہوتا؟ وہ جان کے بھی انجان سا بن بیٹھا ہے، اک بار مجھے دیکھ کر کیوں نہیں جاتا۔ یہ وقت ٹھہر کیوں نہیں جاتا؟ وہ آ کے مجھے مل کیوں نہیں جاتا؟ میں راہ میں اس کی بچھا دوں آنکھیں، پھر بھی وہ قدم رکھ کیوں نہیں جاتا دیوارِ شبِ ہجر گرا دے کوئی، وہ آ کے مجھے چھو کیوں نہیں جاتا؟ برسات میں بھیگی ہیں ساری یادیں، وہ بجلی سا برسے کیوں نہیں جاتا۔ میں اشکوں میں لکھتا ہوں اس کا قصہ، وہ نام مرا پڑھ کے کیوں نہیں جاتا۔ منتظر ۔ ©Muntazer@naaz #Thinking poetry by muntazer@naaz

Unsplash What once was , is no more In just a few days it will be Christmas But it doesn't seem right without you Seeing you on the morning of presents Not having you here is something new Dinner is so tiring and inanimate now Yes there's turkey and stuffing and pie But if you're not here then it's bland I know I'm supposed to feel happy , but why? All the Christmas specials on television Remind me of days when we'd watch together Having you around made it more joyous But since you're not here then it's just - whatever!!
