KASHMIR :The Bleeding Eden I live at the place which is called the heaven on Earth Where slavery has been in vogue right from it's birth The walls of this paradise are painted red As there is no one here that hasn't ever bled The aura of this Eden keeps on smothering us And there is no one with whom it can be discussed This land of ours holds the bodies of our brothers Who once used to be the honey bunches of their mothers The fathers' couldn't see their bundles of joy As they fell prey to the conspiracies of the decoy The husbands couldn't spend time with their wives As they were brutally murdered with the bloody knives The sisters lost their brothers who once used to be their security Now their bodies are full of impurities Here the blood keeps on running from the rivers Seeing this horror everyone shivers The lofty and the elegant mountains covered with snow Are in reality hiding the blood ,hence not letting it flow.
