Na kaale na ghore rang ka samajh tha,
Na kisi ke mazhab par sawaal utatha tha.

Tab sochthe they ki hum sab ek hi hai,
Lekin ab toh yeh kaayanat bhikar chukhi hai.

Kabhi bhooke ko khaana khilaake dekhna,
Woh khaana lete waqt nahi sochega ki,
Yeh musalman ki biriyaani hai, ya hindu ki roti,
Na denewale ka rang kaala hai ya ghora.

Ohh khaayar insaan, ek baat samajh lena,
Yeh cheeze sadhiyon tak nahi sudhregi,
Jab tak teri soch nahi badlegi...
