"Austin, there is a surprise for you." Rohan said to Austin. Austin was very busy practicing his handwriting in his handwriting book. "Austin, are you listening to me? "Rohan continued. A slight nod was made by Austin. "Hello Austin, please look at me at least". Rohan was unhappy at Austin's response. At last, Austin responded by mimicring his English teacher, "Yes, my dear Rohan; continue". "So, today we will meet at 5pm positively", Rohan continued, "Do not forget your bicycle". As usual, Austin was sleeping. And Rohan arrived at Austin's house right on time. But, it again reminded Rohan of that day when Austin's mother forbade him to go out and play. Did Austin's mother forbade him to go and play or did it happen only because Austin was going to play with Rohan? Meanwhile Austin came out from his home and said, "Hello Rohan, sorry for being late and wow you have bought a new cycle! Haven't told me before?" Rohan was still lost in his thoughts. "Hey Rohan..." Austin called by his shoulder. Rohan was suddenly startled by his call. "What are you thinking man?" Austin smiled."Nnn... No... No nothing", Rohan continued," You were sleeping, right? Yeah. Ok so let's have a ride." Let's go to the new football ground." While riding, Rohan shared his learning days of his cycling. How he felt down while riding and hurted

"I would like to buy this one, I like the white colour.", Rohan said to his grandfather in the cycle showroom. Meanwhile, Rohan made a hue and cry in the house yesterday night. He wanted to buy a bicycle, which would be as same as Austin had. And it was a long story though, as to how Rohan succeeded buying a cycle for him. Rohan's mother forbade him from buying a cycle because she stated that Rohan was too young for his age to ride a cycle on the road full of traffic. Upto here, nobody knew why Rohan was so capricious for buying a cycle. Obviously, it never happened before. But now, Rohan put up his thoughts in front of his mother. "Austin too has a cycle with him. And his age is as same as mine, so why not I should have a cycle? " Rohan was very disappointed at the fact that no one supported him. But Rohan was too small to understand the value of money and control of desires. Suddenly, his grandfather says, "Rohan, do not worry, I will buy you a cycle. You are my only grandson. Who doesn't want to see his grandson as a hero? " Rohan's grandfather also consoled his mother that until unless, Rohan gets exposed to the outer world he wouldn't understand the facts by words. "Hi Rohan, can we meet in the evening? Please do come, I will get a partner in my cricket team then." Austin said to Rohan during the dismissal of classes. Though Rohan didn't have any cricket team yet he wanted to invite Rohan so that they could play the game. And this boy, Rohan went mad because he was so surprised & happy that his best friend invited a fat and bulky boy for playing cricket. "Austin, hello Austin, are you sleeping? "Rohan asked loudly. And to his surprise Austin was really sleeping. "Yeah, who's there?" Austin replied in a sleepy voice." I am Rohan. You invited me to play with you. Get up friend." "Rohan will not play...Will be studying now", A voice came from inside. Rohan understood that it was his mother. And his mother will not let him play. May be that's why Austin didn't have any cricket team. Poor Rohan, he went back home sad-faced. He felt so bad that he started weeping while returning home. The Days of 'Best Friends' Rohan is in his 1st standard now. Guess what, Rohan is very much aware of his friends. Like all his friends, he too wanted to make a best friend. Actually, Rohan was totally unaware about what 'best friend' is. But, he wanted to have a best friend just because he observed that each of his friends has a best friend. He asked Austin, " Hey Austin, hi. What are you doing?" "Hi Rohan, just colouring the lion in the book. What about you?" Austin replied. Rohan continued, "Will you help me please?" "What? Do I need to colour your lion too?" Austin prompted smartly. "No not that" Rohan continued "Will you be my best friend?" Rohan asked very shyly. And this chubby boy agreed. And Rohan felt his first happiness in his life that was very personal, though both of them didn't even know what they had done. And wow! It was really a great day for Rohan.
