And in those reflections, I was looking at the same piece of art in the present, past, and future. We turned towards each other to understand what that piece of art spoke to us. And every piece she had lost till then arrived in front of her at once. All these years, she had grown many new pieces to fill those voids that these pieces had left. She didn't have any place left inside her for these pieces of her past anymore. I am here, sitting in the forest under the moonlight that barely reaches me through these trees. With the kid that once I was sitting on my left. And the old man who I will be someday, sitting on my right. We are all holding the same broken toys. While I look at those broken toys, both the kid and the old man are looking at me. No matter how much I tried, I couldn't look into their eyes. When the silence around me began growing on me, I stared into their eyes and stretched my hands. And they placed their toys in my hands, in silence. I kneeled, dropped all those broken toys to the ground, and began joining the pieces of my broken toy to the pieces of the past and the pieces of the future. The moment I started doing that, death and life began running around us. And the moment I joined that last piece, death and life crashed into each other and created a creature that I had never seen before. It bled light from its dark eye and darkness from the eye filled with light. It came near me, stared into my eyes, and smelled me. Then it stared at the toy I had just created and touched it. That was the moment in which a shock went through the spine of creation. That was the moment that changed the past and the future. That was the moment in which that toy I had created changed its shape and created a reflection of itself inside me, the kid, and the old man.
