Unknown Train Watching the moving train, memories awake, A journey back in time, where dreams were at stake. In the blur of passing landscapes, I recall, The fleeting days of youth, standing proud and tall. The rhythm of the tracks matches my heartbeat, As nostalgia unfolds with each passing feat. I gaze upon the window, reflecting back, To the moments of my past, the friendships I lack. Oh, the dreams we carried, like passengers on board, Bound for destinations, yet to be explored. With hearts full of passion and minds free from care, We believed we could conquer the world, unaware. In the compartments of my mind, I can see, The laughter and the tears, the hopes that used to be. Late-night conversations, secrets shared in trust, Bound together by a bond we thought was robust. But time moves swiftly, as the train carries on, And the memories fade like the evening's last song. The innocence of youth, forever left behind, Yet its echoes linger, etched in my mind. Now, watching the moving train, a bittersweet sight, A reminder of the days filled with joy and light. Though the years have passed, and we've grown apart, Those teenage moments remain close to my heart. So, I'll watch the train go, as it disappears from view, Knowing that within me, those memories will renew.
