TO BE A POET I initiate with grin or gloom, down to the canyon or up to the clouds, standing at the edge of those millions thoughts, I tames that force resisting me to engross in the imaginations. I persuades my endeavour by the words without any perturbation. I merges the ideas intuitively with the experiences, actual or vertual. To be a Poet Those were the days of winter, When I was not even a naive writer. A day, I asked one of my poet friends, To mention me in his few lines. A brief pause and he said, I can but I need to fall in love with you And I was baffled. At twilight, he texted me his creation, It was both beautiful and an inspiration. When today, YQ featured Dr. Kalam's quote, On what it takes to be a poet, I was reminded of that anecdote. Since I've started writing, I admit that to be a poet, You need to be Immensely HAPPY or totally BROKEN. #tobeapoet #napowrimo #poemtime #newbiewriter
