It's 2 o' clock at night. I hear the silent breathing of my siblings, rhythmically playing with air in a way which seems like the rise and fall of the small tides that toddle towards the soft sand from the sea, competeing with each other in a race.

The hurricane that you are.. Words knot in my throat and tumble over each other, sinking back into the deep pits of my elusive heart, from where they came in the first place. And are probably going to stay there alot longer, trying to recover the lost energy they had gained before from all the memories that burned like incense sticks, filling up every crack in my soul with your quaint scent.

Dipping my legs by the sunset ablaze ocean glowing orange in the light, I'm stunned by the warmth when you're the light. Felt the serenity run excitedly down my nerves, It's an irony, but so are you, as you fire the light. The cold is a little more bearable at nights very harsh, You always brightly shine when I desire the light. Troubled waters are journeys I wearily yet hopefully tread for you Always come up like the sun whenever I desire the light. Distances travelled shall count up to nil at the end If I don't find you waiting after every hurdle there, as the light. A sorry attempt of suddenly writing a ghazal after ages of inactivity lol. Why on earth am I nervous? 🤣😱 Oh oh! And I completed one year here! Happy anniversary to me! 🥳😂 Thank you everyone whoever poked me till date and pricked my conscience to waste my premium while it still lasts hehehe 💕💕💕(yes I used hehehe to avoid using lol, busted myself) Picture credit: Me :)

My ears turn deaf And my walls, audience. An acoustic reverberation, Breathing essence of atrocities And a living corpse of my conscience. I find it notoriously hard to distinctify The truth's shadow and desires' silhoutte. What goes beyond the barrier of this shroud That covers my nerves from the sensations?
