I've been in coma for quite some time now. Finally, my family decided to pull the plug. But I'm still conscious and can feel everything even after they let me go. As my flesh starts boiling, my skin withering and blackening, the painful and agonizing experience makes me think, why did I never ask to not be cremated. गिरता सिक्का??? क्या सिक्के का भी अवमूल्यन होता है? जब वो गिरता है किसी शवयात्रा में चार लोगों के कांधों पर रखे शव से टकराकर मखानों और बताशों में मिला? जिसे तुरंत उठा लेते हैं बच्चे, वो जो मुक्तिधाम जाती हुई गलियों में रह रहे हैं? या फिर वो दो सिक्के जो रखे रहते हैं अपनी अंतिम यात्रा पर जा रहे व्यक्ति के दोनों हाथों की मुठ्ठियों में गीले आटे के बने गोलों के बीच, गली के बच्चे तो वह सिक्के उठाने में भी परहेज़ नहीं करते? सिक्का तो वही है त्यौहारों में नारियल के साथ रखा हो या जन्मदिन पर माँ द्वारा तिलक लगा कर दिए गए नोट के साथ। वास्तव में सिक्का स्थिर है अजर और अमर है। सिक्का कभी नहीं गिरता, मूल्य तो गिरता बदलता है मानवीय संवेदनाओं का, जीते जी वही हमारे घरों में पूजा जाता है और मृत व्यक्ति के स्पर्श मात्र से हो जाता है अशुभ हमारे लिए ! पर इन बच्चों के लिए उसका एक मूल्य है दुकान पर, चाहे वह लोह-कबाड़ा बैंच कर मिले सिक्कों से हो या किसी भी पवित्र नदी की तलहटी में एक सांस में गोता लगा कर मुंह में इकट्ठे किये हुए सिक्कों से। या शव यात्रा में राम नाम सत्य है, सत्य बोलो गत्य है कहने के साथ शव के ऊपर फेंके जाने पर, क्योंकि यह जुड़ा है पेट से और पेट में जल रही आग भस्म कर देती है सारे दोष और सिक्का हमेशा रहा है दोषमुक्त और चला है सदा आदिकाल से। ©नगेन्द्र #Life #Death #funeral #Coin #poverty #poor #cremation
