Ajay's Grandfather was 18 years old when he met his Grandmother He lived with her for fifty six years, until she breathed her last. He often told him how jasmine flowers reminded him of his love adorning it on her hair. And every time the grandfather saw jasmine flowers he would pick one and smell it passionately. The day came when Ajay broke up with his girlfriend, his friends made him burn everything that she gave him. "Move on", they used to say. He faced hard time dealing with his girlfriend's memories! One day at the supermarket he recognised a familiar scent. It was the same perfume that she wore everyday. He laughed a little at the thought of how the perfume and he were connected in a twisted way & couldn't resist sneaking it into his bag, to which he curses himself for doing that. When one day his Grandfather died, his dad started cleaning out all the stuff. He came across the dried jasmine flowers which he had kept hidden inside his suitcase along with some faded unreadable letters. He told his dad "Dad I think, it's Daadi's memories that Daadu had kept with him." His Dad with a smile replied " My mother had alergy with Jasmine flowers, she never used to adorn it..."
