To Hassan, Writing to you, for the first time. Writing about you seemed tough, but it's evident that writing to you is heart-rending, for you're no more breathing the smoke that escapes through the muzzle, gunshots are not your lullaby any more, moreover no more can you push someone in the abysmal search of redemption. You're there somewhere, up above, with a hope that Sohrab would accept Amir's embrace wholeheartedly, one day. You're also glad that Sohrab saved Amir (which you 'always' do).
