THINK ONCE MORE-18 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Things happen contrary to our will but life goes on. That is life and we are to accept it as it is. In moments of joy and despair, sorrow and misfortune one should remain calm and never allow his mental peace to be disturbed for grief and relief and happiness and sorrow are but part of life. There is none in the world who is an exception to it. From chill penury to sad demises, from utter betrayal to howling shame we have witnessed and encountered everything in our life. These things happened and will happen in life time and again. The inability or the unwillingness to accept things as they are is the cause of sorrow. It is a state of mind and can be taken care of by positive thinking. Life should be so lived that if death comes the next moment it can be embraced with ease with a smile on the lips. You lived and died
for what you loved and fancied
poetry was your love, passion and obsession
and you met your doom while you were
with your sweet heart
a poem of eternal love

You lived your life
for the sake of your love
you died your death
in the lap of your love
what a life and what a death?
when someone lives and dies
for his love
is not that life elusive?
is not that death elusive?

How pale and gloomy the world looks
mourning your sad demise
but you left for your heavenly abode
with your love by your side
and a smile on lips
what an elusive end for a
fabulous new beginning

Death is a reality
which we all had to embrace
someday or other
you proved death can be a pleasure
a fun with one's love
and the death you had
is so different
an artist's fascination
a lover's craze and
a poet's dream forever
