And then she said, "You know, I mean no offense to my family, but I've always hated my surname. So...Umm..." She took a dramatic pause. "..Can I have yours for the rest of my life?" Too generous of her right? To have HER for the rest of my life while she just had my surname. In hindsight, I wish she had more of ME than just my surname. I really do!
