लिखने की तलब है मगर मग़रूर ख़याल नहीं आते ग़ैर-मशरूफ मुहब्बत तबाह हुई,अब एहसास जमाल नहीं आते। मुसलसल कोशिश की उन्हें पन्नों पर तराशने की, लेकिन अश्कों से तर-बतर पन्नों पर, जज़्बात नहीं आते। सिर्फ हम हैं उनके दिल में, ले डूबी ये ग़लतफ़हमी हमको रब का एहसानमंद हूँ ,वो बनावटी मुलाकात दोबारा नहीं आते। लाहासिल मेरी ज़िन्दगी करके हुआ तुम्हें क्या हासिल, पूछे जो इस बेज़ार दिल का हाल,वो सवालात ज़ुबाँ पे क्यूँ नहीं आते। सोचा था ख़ामोशी ने बचा रखी है आबरू सवालों की, खामोशी रूहों की बयाँ करे अल्फाज़ें,अब वो हालात नहीं आते। लिखने का "कौशल" भी है,मगर ख़याल नहीं आते, अब तो कम्बख्त यम के फरिश्ते भी, इस आशिक़ के हवालात नही आते। This is my first ghazal ever. Anger turns to apologies, As if the mind plays conspiracies. The brain is not supposed to be a see-saw, Either you stay with me, or you let me go. You're an angel,destined to 'fly high' And I a mortal-who hates the sky, With no reason to justify. How do I find hope in a brand new day, If the one I love, flies away?? I don't wish to stop you from flying, For you it's your dream - electrifying.
