Once a teacher was giving a lecture in an auditorium full of small kids. He began, "Life is a race!" But right after his opening line, he paused and was observing a small kid in the front row who looked worried and staring at his wheelchair. The teacher asked the boy, "son, are you alright?" The boy asked timidly, "Sir, if life is a race then how can I even participate, I could never win" Seeing the loosing confidence of the kid the teacher replied, "Dear, you heard right, LIFE IS A RACE, but this is a bit different one than a typical run-run-run race. He looks and she looks. Both, waiting for some kind, of signal-- telling them to speak. For, both have been hurt, so many times, before. Both, found it such a risk, to start opening their hearts, to possible rejection and loss. He checked, again--seeing her "online". She checked, as well--finding him "idle". Like a spark of sudden courage--a recherché fluke, actually--he started typing. For, he knew, that she will never, make a move. And, that staying stagnant and stuck, will never lead to anything. He typed, "Hi" and crossing his fingers, pressed SEND. "Here goes nothing," he said to himself. She saw the message; and with trembling hands, opened it. And, there, started a love story, that surpassed trials; that came to damage their love. Here they are, now--about to get married.
