The river was flowing. She wanted to flow wherever she could. She wanted not only to flow, but also expand while she's flowing. But she couldn't flow upwards, as the Gravity pulled downwards. She couldn't spread out, as the banks confined her movement. Making it worse, there were hills and falls to impede and trial. All this was only to ensure the River's merger in the Sea, Which was the River's Destiny. The River, whose wishes were unfulfilled, Who knew not her destiny and oblivious to the bliss in the merger, Was not happy with the restraints and curtailment. Yet, she quenched the thirst of lakhs of beings, And fulfilled their needs and wishes, For she knew the joy of giving And the pain of deprivation.
