KEEPING ON I've dreamed many dreams that never came true, I've seen them vanish and down, But i've realized enough of my dreams,thank god, To make me want to dream on and keep going on; I've prayed many prayers when no answer came, Though I waited patient and long, But answers have came to enough of my prayers, To make me keep praying and keeping trust on god ON; I've sown many seed that fell by the way, For the birds to feed upon, But i've held enough golden sheaves in my hands, To make me keep sowing and keep going on; I've drained cup of disappointment and pain, And gone many days wrong, But i've sipped nectar from roses of life, To make me want to live on! ©SNEHA HASSIJA keeping on poem #colours

The strum of the nib. The drop of the ink. I started shaping the syllables. Off one blink, I got the meaning of most of it. There's a klink. When the sharp pointy black Touched the coarse white thick. The Past, The Present and the mighty Future. I think. Forever has been ink-ed. If only it could be undone. Like most of the naive efforts try. If only it could be made shut. Like we did to that one innocent cry. But some remains are harder to wipe. As time passes by. This shall never pass.
