POET He is a poet, weaving Allegory and alliteration; Through smiles and similes, Bleeding miles of metaphors. Drinking a saucerful Of the sunlight That awakens him, Weeping the angst That rewards him; Solitude. He is a poet, seeing Through painted glass And chapel domes; Ascending with every Syllable he pens; Omnipresence. Here's my #poetry on the life of a #poet READ BELOW: This short poem talks about the life of a poet, about how he sketches the stories of life using varuous emotions as colours and his poetic devices in form of words, rhyme and rhythm. He bleeds the pain that he nurtures inside, that rewards him with the melody in his creations, yet people only see the ink from his pen. From waking up to the sunlight that plays hide and seek with him, to pouring his heart's anxiety and pain out through black and white tears, a poet's life is an untold and little-understood story of solitude.
