©Rooh_Lost_Soul If women is the foundation of any house then Men is the fuel to run that house . 🙏 Respect for all the men who knows their duties and respon

Let go. Holding on is hurting you, They don’t even care Of all the turmoils you go through Trying so hard to calm down With a storm raging within They turn blind to the fire The flames binding you. So, let go. //poem continued below// There’s no point in holding on. Your pain is negligent to them They’ll just douse your flames With waters of duties and responsibilities A

SOMETHING I LOOK AT-233 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY DAYS AFTER-29 At every stage Life has a different story to tell Each more fascinating, more beautiful And promising than the other You need to have The eyes to see its spellbinding beauty The ears to listen to its symphony An unprejudiced mind to perceive A throbbing heart to feel it Life in between sixty to eighty and beyond Is as creative, as enjoyable as worth living As childhood and adulthood If you do not feel that way Is because you do not look at it The same way as you look at childhood and youth Old age has its charm and glamour You are to explore it the way You harnessed your youth and adulthood It is a stage of life Where you are free from Routine duties and responsibilities The tensions and anxieties that go into The making of a successful life The problems of building oneself Grooming and taking care of a career And the pressure to keep pace with others The changing needs of time and fluctuating weather Now you have the leisure To become yourself To go back to your love and passion To begin life where from you left long since For a change start living the way you want to You will find how different and beautiful life is Smruti Ranjan Mohanty ©Smruti Ranjan Mohanty #CrescentMoon SOMETHING I LOOK AT-233 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY DAYS AFTER-29 At every stage Life has a different story to tell Each mor

Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Channel, an eminent poet and internationally acclaimed literary critic for writing a wonderful critical appreciation on my poem 'A LOOK AT LIFE-8'. Thank you very much, sir, for your beautiful words Smruti Ranjaniji, Your poem titled"A Look At Life-8" is a poem that poses questions to the Almighty for the existential dilemmas, we the human beings encounter in our day to day lives here in this world at the present juncture. The poem begins with posing that fundamental question regarding the very purpose of human lives here in this universe, are we here to satiate our desires or are we here to fulfil the material desires of life? The question that is to be asked again here is that what is the meaning of this life here in this world? Do we live in this world for the sake of living or do we have anything else to attain from this life such as spiritual needs and requirements? The pertinent truth is that we are here in the world to achieve that higher reality where the rudimentary aspects of life have no place, in this world of make-belief nature, we need to accomplish our duties and responsibilities and move on to that heavenly realm where we find true and ultimate happiness and contentment. It is very difficult to accept the reality that we only lead the miniature forms of life here on this earth compared to the full-fledged lives envisaged for us there in heaven and life on earth is a big illusion and we need to cross from this illusion into the realm of spirituality in the world divinity. The one quality that we need to inculcate in our lives is that to have the ability to see the embodiments of God in everything, then our lives become very positive and forward-looking to the core. Kudos to you for composing such a poem of magnificent nature. Written by Cijo Joseph Channel. The Head of the English Department Kristu Jyoti College of Management and Technology Chethipuzha Changanassary Kottayam District Kerala India All Copyrights Reserved@ On 9th October 2017. A LOOK AT LIFE-8 BY-SMRUTI RANJAN MOHANTY Oh, God! Why I am here? Is it only to serve The physical body its desires And stand all alone? Tell me Who am l? Am l the body a lump of flesh and blood? Am I the mind which dictates terms? Am I the pure self-immune to pain and Pleasure? Or something else which I don't know? My Father Let me know the purpose For which I am here? Is it for mundane things and worldly pursuits? Is it to satisfy negative emotions and Acquisitive instinct? Is it to overindulge to repent and repent And come under cosmic Maya again and again Or something else? Oh my Lord! How can I fathom the infinite With a limited mind and intellect Time is running out Do me a favour Give me a pair of eyes To see You in everything Give me the heart to fall in love with You Give me a mind that never roams And always at your lotus feet copyright@smrutiranjan 10.6.2015 #Thanks and gratitude to Prof Cijo Joseph Channel, an eminent poet and internationally acclaimed literary critic for writing a wonderful cri
